I’m thrilled to offer harp lessons to students of all ages and levels. No musical background or experience is necessary! Whether you’ve never seen a harp before, or have been playing for many years, I would love to be your teacher!

Despite my background, I do not push my students beyond their own interests and goals. While some students are looking to reach an advanced or professional level, many students are simply looking for an enjoyable hobby, or to perform at church from time to time. I tailor every lesson to each individual student, taking their interests and goals into consideration while preparing the best pieces and exercises for their progress. It’s my number one goal to ensure that the student always looks forward to and enjoys their lessons, while still progressing and improving.

My teaching studio is located in Madison, Alabama. A convenient drive for students coming from Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Decatur, and surrounding areas. For students in central Tennessee, my studio is only an hour and a half from Nashville, and if you’re a little further south in Alabama, I’m only an hour and a half from Birmingham.

If your location prevents you from in-person lessons, I also offer online lessons to students that I believe will thrive with remote lessons. I pride myself on my approach to online lessons, going above and beyond to make up for not being there in person with you.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning the harp, I would love to discuss all the particulars with you! From what to expect in lessons, to the best ways to get a harp of your own for practicing at home. I’m happy to be a fount of helpful information, and to do what I can to help you decide if harp lessons are right for you.
