Another Performance!

I was saying in my last post how funny it is that I can go from having nothing planned in a month to having a full month…and it just keeps coming!  On top of the two performances and thing in Huntsville that I already have scheduled, I now have ANOTHER orchestra concert to add to my calendar this month!

On Wednesday October 21st, I’ll be playing principal harp on a full orchestra performance of Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms with the Belmont Oratorio Orchestra.  I’m super excited as the piece has a really big and awesome harp part that I’m really looking forward to playing.  That week is looking to be super hectic between rehearsals and performances of the Bernstein and Volker pieces in separate concerts, but it’ll be worth it!  It’s so great to be performing so much.

I also have to admit to being excited for the Bernstein piece because the text is in Hebrew.  I got a minor in Hebrew language when I was in college, so I can’t wait to put it to use and probably not understand anything they sing!  Ha!
